A critically endangered sea turtle, The Hawksbill, belongs to the Cheloniidae family and is the only extant species in the world. An adult Hawksbill turtle grows upto 1m (3 ft) in length and weighs around 80kg on average. Like other sea turtles, hawksbills are solitary for most of their lives; they meet only to mate.
